Logica Off Campus

It was 02-Aug-08, and we are still unplaced. We have been trying our luck since Jan. Though we have a good academic job in our hands, we are looking for careers in corporate companies.

We arrived at the company by 9AM. The process started. There were 3 stages

1) Written test: The test is exemption for those who scored 80% or more in eLitmus Test. Since, i dint take the test, i have to undergo the written test here. Initially, i didn't have the confidence that i could thru the test. There were many sections, like Aptitude, English, Attention to Detail. I gave my best

Our papers were corrected very quickly & thanks to God, i have passed the test.

2) Group Discussion: Till then for companies we attended there was no Group Discussion. But in our college, i used to mentor my juniors for Group discussion. This gave me confidence, but the topic was "Bangalore". That is my first visit to Bangalore & that i too have to speak against. I made my mind to speak against and ultimately cleared it.

3) Interview: Initially, i had HR round. They asked my education details & some questions regarding career.A small puzzle was given, though i didn't answer it correctly, he liked my approach & told i was selected and mentioned the packaged details. I was very very happy & my joy felt no boundaries. I was discussing the questions with my friends. Then again a person came to me telling i have to attend the technical discussion. I was tense. Now in this enjoyment, how could i attend the tech. round & thought this opportunity is also gone. Anyway, presented myself to the interviewer. The questions were easy initially. I answered C & OOPs questions. Then i was asked questions on Database, for which my answers didn't satisfy the interviewer. I thought i will be disqualified.

Finally came out from the room & sharing questions to my friends. Suddenly, HR came up and took us into a room discussing the details regarding the offer letter & our placements. Then, i got to know that i am selected. I came out with flying colours
